Video: Laura Stevenson goes swimming for “Jellyfish”

Laura Stevenson - JellyfishBrooklyn's Laura Stevenson has unveiled a new video for her single, "Jellyfish". The song is taken from her new studio album, Cocksure, which is out now via Don Giovanni Records.

Matching irresistibly catchy vibes, swelling guitar hooks, crashing drums and gritty lyrics, Stevenson and her band play to a backdrop of the ocean and jellyfish swimming, as the song emphasises Stevenson’s propensity for taking herself down.

Produced by longtime friend and collaborator Jeff Rosenstock of Bomb The Music Industry!, engineered by Joe Rogers at Room 17, and mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley; Cocksure represents a new era for the talented singer songwriter. Where Wheel drew influence from Stevenson’s folk and country leanings, Cocksure is a more direct and powerful rock 'n' roll album.

Laura has been touring the US this autumn to support the new release. Check out the remaining dates below:

November -  10th @ Turf Club, St. Paul // 12th @ Subterranean, Chicago // 13th @ The High Watt, Nashville // 14th @ Musica, Akron // 17th @ Rumba Cafe, Columbus // 18th @ The Foundry/Fillmore, Philadelphia // 19th @ Middle East Downstairs, Boston // 20th @ BSP Kingston, Kingston // 21st @ Webster Hall Marlin Room, New York
