Video: Tall Ships share tour video for “Home”

HomeWith the recent release of their long awaited second album Impressions, Brighton indie rock band Tall Ships have stirred the excitement further with the release of new track and accompanying video "Home".

"Home" builds from a measured beginning to a colossal crescendo equal parts road ready indie and blossoming post-rock. Speaking of the track, frontman Ric Phethean says: "It's a love song exploring the past, present, and future of a relationship."

"Home" comes accompanied by a tour video following the band's recent UK run including footage from their raucous, sold out London show at Omeara earlier this month. The clip was directed by Ben Phethean, who says, "We really wanted to pay homage to "Home" and create a visual piece that was as energetic and exciting as the song itself."

Filmed over the final two shows of Tall Ships' recent headline tour, the video is a mixture of abstract, observational footage combined with live performance shots that try to illustrate the feelings and emotions that come with being on tour and away from home, as well as capturing the raw passion that comes through when the band perform live.
