Premiere: Gabrille Papillon streams beautifully captivating live video for “Brother Throw Down”

A "prairie outlaw song" according to the lady herself, "Brother Throw Down" is a glorious concoction of folk and Americana; spun together here by a sultry live setting and Papillion's charmingly infectious vocal. The proud and rightful owner of the Recording of the Year award at Nova Scotia Music Awards 2015, Gabrielle Papillon has been hard at work since the release of her latest album The Tempest of Old in September of this year. Since then she's enjoyed copious support from BBC 6Music, being especially championed by Steve Lamacq, and plans to tour the UK next year to maximise on the support.

Drawing comparison to Alela Diane and Regina Spektor in publications such as Clash Magazine and Exclaim!, Papillon's fifth studio release The Tempest of Old features "Brother Throw Down" and follows a long line of albums, beginning with 2001's Songs for a Rainy Day.
