Peggy Sue release track featuring Willy Mason

willy masonPeggy Sue has put out a rather special, and surprisingly smiley treat for the Summer solstice: an alternative version of their song "Longest Day of the Year Blues", featuring the perfectly chosen country pipes of Willy Mason. The track comes off Peggy Sue's recent Choir of Echoes album, out now on Wichita Recordings.

Now with no drums but with the perfect American drawl, Willy Mason joins our favoured Brighton three-piece for this perfect way to say hello to comparatively shorter days to come. There's still plenty of summer fun to be had though, with a startling amount of festival appearances in the band's calender.

All those dates can be found below, along with a stream for "Longest Day of the Year Blues", featuring Willy Mason. More info on Peggy Sue themselves can be found on their website.
