News: Latitude Festival turn up the talent with more music announced

Latitude Festival is 12 yLatitude 2017ears old this year and it's throwing a bit of a bash to celebrate, with loads more music, film, and talks announced. Taking place on 13th - 16th July 2017 in the stunning grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk, the festival attracts some of the biggest names in contemporary music and art. Latitude 2017 promises to be no different.

Sample savants, Public Service Broadcasting will join a star-studded lineup in the Obelisk Arena alongside this years’ headliners The 1975, Mumford and Sons and Fleet Foxes.

Ahead of their debut album release, Norway’s Sløtface will also join the stellar music offering along with Dead Pretties,  Saint Motel and Suffolk’s own Bessie Turner. 80s influenced jokers Rad Pitt join the Lake Stage line up as part of BBC Introducing.

Latitude isn't just famous for great live music. This year’s timely theme is Come the Revolution, which will be expressed through the most cutting-edge scientific research and the words and wit of writers, researchers and scientists from across the UK and beyond.

2017 will give audiences the chance to hear some of the best DJ and MC talents to emerge from the UK's buzzing grime underground scene including AJ Tracey and DJ Semtex. Music-inspired films such as Whitney: Can I Be Me, and Alt. Russia, which follows Placebo on tour provides the musical cherry on a what is shaping up to be a delicious weekend.
