Stream: Kloe shares the smooth pop of “Teenage Craze”

Teenage Craze19-year-old Glaswegian KLOE has just released her Teenage Craze EP. The teenager - who’s already caused quite a stir this year in the likes of The Sunday Times Culture, Fader and Nylon to name but a few – burst into our consciousness late last year with the release of her debut single, "Touch". Now she returns with the EP title track.

"Teenage Craze" is another great addition to KLOE's smooth pop oeuvre. Produced by Stelios Phili, an insistent beat combines with her carefully crafted vocals to produce a delicate earworm of a song.

KLOE, who won a Scottish Music Award last year, says of the song: "Teenage Craze, to me, feels like the start of something big. I wrote it at the tail end of last year about everything that had happened to me in 2015. I had just started to work in London and became very disconnected from everything I’d ever known growing up in Glasgow, nostalgic about my past and the people who were in it. In retrospect, I think Teenage Craze is a dark, twisted love letter to my youth. A farewell to my teenage years."

The Teenage Craze EP  is out now on IAMSOUND (Florence and the Machine, Little Boots and Charli XCX) in the US and Columbia Records in the UK.
