While we once survived on them, it’s not often DrunkenWerewolf gets a recommendation from a fan anymore. So when one of Town Halls’ snapped their head above the crowd to proclaim Nathan K. a force to be reckoned with, we took note.
Sure enough the Michigan musician brings scores to the table with his unique take on the Americana bracket. With a layabout vocal and lo fi recording techniques, forthcoming album Dishes nevertheless shines with a vibrant, youthful talent that errs on the social justice of Eef Barzelay. He may take influence from the 1990s cassette artists who holed themselves away in their bedroom and only came out at the instance of a local label, but in skill and musical acumen Nathan K. deserves all the attention he can get.
Currently on tour in the UK, you can find out more about Nathan over here.
