لدينا نظرة خاطفة هنا Their latest single "Blood Orange" is a gorgeously crafted song, underpinned by Lachlan McLellan's warbling bass lines, Jack Page's splashes of electric guitar and Rob Pemberton's shuffling drums. The instrumentation bears a certain brooding intensity, while Marianne Parrish's dreamy vocals drift effortlessly over them, giving the song its folk timbre. The guitar parts are layered beautifully: listened to with headphones, guitar chords and lines spring up from different sides, giving it a certain playfulness. The song builds in the middle, with a driving blues guitar riff moving into a gentler bridge; palm muted lines, à la ثنائي الخيار الروبوت لا يعمل London Grammar, dance throughout the track, maintaining its momentum. The arrangement is simple, and crafted to perfection.

"I had a feeling of visceral joy that I wanted to hang onto, but also a sense of it being transient; 'Blood Orange' represents my refusal to let this sense overshadow the moment."
