Introducing: Lovers League

Lovers LeagueFeeling nostalgic for the riffs of a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack? Hold your breath no longer; Lovers League want to take you there and lay it down the line, so to speak.

The country-pop duo - who have a folk, surf edged tone - hail from Philadelphia, USA. Their project is the winning combination of solo artists Dani Mari and Reverend TJ McGlinchey, who together perform as a duet; with their vocal harmonies filling in the spaces and on-stage band members Christopher Davis-Shannon and Dean Gorfti framing the sound, with bass guitar and drums respectively.

For fans of Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons, Lovers League have already performed alongside Richard Thompson and currently find themselves in the depths of a US tour with cornerstones at the Cornstoke and Philadelphia Folk Festivals. Their new self-titled EP was released at the beginning of August and celebrated with a Brooklyn show.
