Introducing: CLARA NOVA

Clara NovaUpbeat and ethereal yet breezy and avant-garde, French-American singer-songwriter Sydney Wayser is CLARA NOVA

Wayser hails from Los Angeles, California, and possesses a sun-kissed sound that's seemingly inspired by her place of origin. Starting off with several self-titled albums, Wayser adopted her CLARA-NOVA moniker in the mid-2010s. Her debut EP, The Bronze Age, was released in 2015 and she also released a remix of Blonde Redhead's"The One to Love" in 2016. Evolving both lyrically and musically, Wayser has had several successful placements in television shows, movie trailers and films, with songs featured in Grey's Anatomy and Shameless.

In 2017 Wayser garnered even more momentum as a backup singer for Lorde, performing with her at Glastonbury and Lollapalooza. Her latest November 2018 release The Golden Age is entwined with catchy indie-pop hooks and electronic undertones, all things that compliment her previous releases. While the album is complex, the songs are delicate and contain strong vocals reminiscent of Florence and the Machine.

CLARA-NOVA will continue their momentum by playing their 2019 debut show at Bardot Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA on February 11. More information here.
