Introducing: Carmody

Carmody"Like looking through a kaleidoscope, your presence it brings patterns to my room," warbles South East London's Carmody on her latest single "Singing Your Love". It does exactly what it says on the tin - a seductive and mesmerising love song encased in slick beats and electric guitar tones. The kaleidoscope effect is captured effortlessly in the swirling instrumentation and vocal melodies.

Hers has been a comprehensive rise, with success across all bases. Through collaborations with big name artists - the likes of Tom Misch and Alfa Mist - video sessions with London Live, The Distillery and Sofar Sounds, and playlists across Youtube and Spotify, she has enjoyed a wealth of support from all corners of the music industry. Since her debut Out to Sea EP, with Tom Misch's gentle vocals in tow, and its follow up Skin EP, she's developed her dreamy, accomplished sound with a series of singles. Among these, a gorgeous cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" shows off her soul-infused vocals amid chiming guitar chords and trip-hop beats.

Alongside the digital releases, she's been busy on the touring side as well. She's fresh off a UK tour that included a show at the Crofters Rights in Bristol, Manchester's Sunflower Lounge and The Great Escape in sunny Brighton. In April she also shared her songwriting talents with audiences across western Europe, and in a couple of weeks, we'll be snatching her away from her packed schedule to talk about her success and future plans - watch this space...
