Trwbador cross seasons

It seems CocoRosie‘s Grey Oceans has affected independent music far more than is has popular culture. Or so Trwbador and their label Owlet Music would have us believe.
Carved out of the same rock that bore the Cassady sisters, Trwbador write wyrd songs straight from the spindle. Simultaneously falling into the trip-hop, electronica and folk categories, somewhat unbelievably the West Wales duo use only acoustic instruments to create their sound. The tactic pays off – and debut EP Sun in the Winter offers an intriguing, albeit unusual listen.
